“Komm und Lerne!” So many English words have a German origin. This class offers you a unique chance to learn another language. German I is for the absolute beginner and German II is for those who are comfortable with their language skills. Hans-Dieter Gomes is the instructor for both levels. Dieter has taught German at the German-American Club for many years.
American Sign Language
Not only is learning a second language good for your brain, it’s also a great way to expand your communication skills. This is especially true for American sign language, which is the fifth most-used language in the U.S. Taught by Debra Fontaine who studied and taught sign language for over 20 years.
